CIVIS widgets are easy to use and can be accessed from literally anywhere you want to put them.

Here's how to get started:

1. Simply refer to the Dashboard next to the widget you want to download.
   
   
2. Then, pick the environment in which you want the widget to appear from the graphic icons in the box. For example, if you want the widget to appear on your VISTA desktop...just click DESKTOP in the top-menu and then the VISTA button. If you prefer to use the widget in FACEBOOK, click on POST in the top-menu and then the FACEBOOK button.

   The widget install software will appear on your screen in a small box; Click RUN and then click INSTALL.

   Alternatively, if you want to use the widget on your website, click on EMBED in the top-menu and then OTHER SITES. A pop-up box will give you a couple of lines of code that you would need to paste inside your website's code.
   
   

3. That's it! Close the window and go to your chosen location to start using your CIVIS widget. It's that simple. If you want to place the widget in several of your favorite spots...go right ahead...use it as many times as you like.

When you want to use your widget...all you have to do is click on it OR drag it from it's location to the middle of your screen. It will instantly resize to make it easier to read and enjoy. To reduce its size (so you can work with your other programs), just drag it back to it's resting location.
